Just a turn of the handle will engage the cam under the tow pin. The automatic lock
will assure a positive hook-up for towing. To release, only turn the handle, thus
unlocking the towbar head from the tow pin.

have THREE SAFETY FEATURES only FOUND ON the Manson Towbars.

| 1. Shear Bolt: |
When the shear bolt has sheared the SAFETY BOLT
keeps the aircraft connected to the tow tractor |
| 2. Safety Bolt: |
This bolt will keep towbar and aircraft hooked up, even when the shear
bolt shears. |
| 3. Anti-Jackknife Bolts: |
When shear bolt is sheared, there are two resistant bolts to keep the
aircraft in towing position. |
| 4.
Foam-Filled Tires: |
Towbars are shipped with
FOAM-FILLED tires to eliminate flats. |

| Principle of Operation: |
Designed for towing the C-130 aircraft by the nose landing gear. Attaches
to nose gear towing bolt with locking latch. Two wheels are provided for handling towbar
when not connected to aircraft. |

Towing vehicle is connected to bar. |

Special Features |
- Four (4) nuts will remove the undercarriage (2
U-Bolts)
- Remove one 1/2" bolt to separate the 15 foot bar.
- When the undercarriage is removed the three pieces will
fit into the doorway of
the P-3 aircraft.
- The C-130 Head assembly or the P-3 Head Assembly
fit
on the same Fly-Away towbar.
- Shipped with FOAM-FILLED tires to eliminate flats.
